Okay, you know how I told you I had to be quick yesterday? Well, I’ve really got to make my ramblings short today! Thus, let’s cut the chit-chat and get right down to it, shall we?
Demacia, Freljord, and Ionia
If you’ve ever played League of Legends, then you’ll already know that there’s extensive lore to a game that is all MOBA and not much RPG. In LoL, you have your objective, you fight to the end, no story involved beyond that.
A part of League‘s lore is the factions, which your battling characters find themselves a part of. There are currently twelve factions and almost all of them (minus Kumungu) have freaking sick looking symbols attached to them. I thought, hey, why not highlight these awesome design elements in some freebies, eh?
I chose three faction’s insignias: Demacia, Freljord, and Ionia. These three were chosen because they house three of my favorite mains in LoL—Sona, Ashe, and Soraka. (As you can tell, I have the heart of a Bot Laner.) Each of these insignias I was able to use in a pattern and style them in a way that is representative of the faction locations. While Demacia is sturdy and mountainous, Freljord is unforgivingly cold, and Ionia is green and lush.

All of these babies are offered as an 8×10 in a JPEG format, free for download and use! I’ve already got my buddy using one as his phone background, which I thought was a cool idea.
