GUYS. I’m finally getting off my butt and going to see The Greatest Showman tomorrow. Yes, I did it. I am finally going to be able to see what all this hoopla is about. (If you’re a SpongeBob fan like me, it’s okay to shout, “HOOPLA!” now.)
“The noblest art is that of making others happy.”
Luckily for me, even though I am currently not on this The Greatest Showman bandwagon, I have a lot of great friends and family who are. Thus, for today’s freebie, I turned to them to educate me, asking: “What’s your favorite quote from the film?”
Of course, most often I was left with an answer along the lines of, “I can’t decide, there are so many great ones!”
Between dialogue as well as lyrics, everyone seemed to have a handful of quotes to give me rather than just one or two. So, does this prove that The Greatest Showman is as great as both its fans and title purport it to be? Well, I can’t weigh-in on that, but I definitely see some merit to it considering the quotes I was given.
In my information gathering, I heard a lot of praise about the lyrics for “This is Me”–as well as have seen the song posted about a billion times throughout social media–and lots of the quotes seemed to be tailored around a central idea on how we can find happiness in what is a very confusing and painful world. I liked every quote I was handed, I liked that vein of “how to be happy” that I saw in them, but I especially liked this quote, the inspiration for today’s free printable.

Basically, merely based on quotes, I like what The Greatest Showman is handing out. If this film centers around the positive, uplifting messages that I was able to witness in its dialogue, then I’m pretty freaking excited to be finally seeing it tomorrow–especially with my two best friends!
