Freebie Friday #22: Barbara Holland

Just as a quick reminder before I get to today’s free printable, if you haven’t already entered into our Star Wars: The Last Jedi t-shirt giveaway, be sure to head over to yesterday’s post and do so!  Remember, it’s as easy as liking the post, and commenting.  So easy, trust me.

We’ve had a good response on Instagram, but here on the blog it’s been pretty slow so far as entries go.  However, that’s good for you, because it increases your chances of winning a free t-shirt!  Remember, we’ll pick a winner here on WordPress, and then another winner on Instagram, so enter and win, people.

Barbara Holland

One thing about Stranger Things and its fanbase is just how loved Barbara’s character came out in the end.  Her part in the show was short-lived but apparently made an impact because, dang it, we love you, Barb!

Barb was so loved, in fact, that her untimely demise at the hands of the Demogorgon sparked social media campaigns such as #JusticeForBarb.  While we are pretty Barb-less in Stranger Things now, we still adore her for the moments that we got to have her.

Stranger Things and Barbara Holland are just an excellent example of how minor characters can take viewer’s hearts by storm.  Shannon Purser, who portrayed Barb, even received quite the surprise of an Emmy nomination for her role.  At only 20-years-old, that’s pretty dang cool.

Although we’re sad that Barb is no longer, we’re very happy to see Shannon on the CW’s Riverdale, and hope to see much more of her pretty face.  For now, may we continue to mourn the loss of Barb from the world of Stranger Things–in free printable form, of course.  It’s Freebie Friday, after all.

May Barb and her sweetness be forever remembered on your wall with this awesome free printable.  Ready to print and hang, it’s 8×10 inches, and offered in both a JPEG and PDF format!

Do you love Barb as much as we do?
